so as the apparently only non sponsored purchaser of these so far, i will share my opinion since the sponsored reviews did little to help me choose to buy these. first off i will say that i have not used a ton of them, so far about 7 sheets, and i havent had a chance to see how wear resistant they are, but initial results are very good. i printed them with a good quality color laser printer, but not an industrial model so my results should be the same as anyone with a middle of the road printer from a big box store. these labels are thinner then your average avery label and feel more like a plastic film then paper, which is suspect is what makes them "water and tear resistant". the adhesive is not a strong as the previous reviews would have you think, however for any reasonable application its more then sufficient. its stronger then the average avery paper labels, but not as tough as the weather proof shipping labels they sell. the labels were able to be pulled off while applying to re-position, so they are not permanent. the adhesive does seem to set up a bit after being stuck on for a while, i didnt bother to try and peel one off. The bottles being labeled are made of thin LDPE, they were clean and dry when labeled. The labels are naturally glossy, and this carries over to the toner once printed, so the labels look nice and clean, i was able to easily make out pt 4 font on the labels as well, the edges are crisp and clear, no smudging, no flaking. I cannot speak to the labels chemical resistance as mentioned by some other reviews as i am only using it in the presence of propylene glycol and glycerine, which they have handled fine thus far.To summarize, the lables are clearly a step above your run of the mill avery label, they look better, appear to be more rugged and produce a superior quality end result. The price per label is a fair bit higher then standard labels, at around 3 times the cost per label, though they are still not that expensive for a box of 600. I feel they are slightly over priced, and the claims made by the other reviews here, and by avery are embellished to some extent, but i will still purchase them again because they meet my needs better then anything else i have tried, and the price is still reasonable.on a side note, on the off chance that avery scrolls through here, paying 35 people to review your product, does not in any way make me (and probably a lot of other people) more or less likely to buy it based on there review. when you pay someone (free product is really no different then payment) most people are going to be much more lenient on the product being reviewed, which makes there reviews pretty worthless if your trying to get an understanding of a products good and bad qualities and what applications it may work well in and what it may not. just food for thought. at the end of the day i chose to try this product because i have been satisfied with other avery products and i was relying on that tradition over these reviews.Update:still using these labels and have not had any issues with them. they seem to hold up quite well over time for my use. absolutely worth the few extra bucks to get away from the cheaper paper ones.
