I have had no issues using this filament. It prints great, has good adhesion to the bed, and it does color changing. When the filament gets warm or hot, It changes to more of a white color. Once the filament has cooled back down, it goes back to orange. It is definitely a unique filament with a cool color change effect. I have used many JAYO filaments and have had very good results with them.I originally was frustrated trying to print this filament with a 0.4mm nozzle. I experienced two clogs early in calibration prints (a temp tower and a benchy). After switching to a 0.8mm nozzle (to elevate clogging concerns), this filament really started to shine. I ended up using 180C nozzle and 50C bed temperatures, but this needs to be figured out for your own printer. I really began to love making large prints pretty quickly with the 0.8mm nozzle. As you can see from my pictures, it's a great filament, especially for vase mode printing. In the picture of the baby step Z-offset rectangle, it's possible to lay a buttery smooth first layer. I recommend this filament.I see a lot of applications for this filament and I look forward to gifting some large wood-like vases to family members. This is my favorite fil because it makes everything look like ancient roman. super cool. good quality pla tooThe filament worked quite well initially and the quality is quite good. I did not have much of an issue until 3/4 through the spool when the filament started clogging on the hot-end at around 25% of the progress. I made adjustments to the print setting, and heating temp and even tried to manually push the filament to see what was going on. It was indeed the filament that was stuck. I tried to re-print and once again it was clogging at 75% of a 8-hour print. I really like this filament but it seems to be unreliable which leads to wasted time and resources.Printed very well, but had to use high powered focused flashlight to get it to glow... Over head florescent bulbs in the room would result in a almost unnoticeable glow.. The blue color itself works great for highlights on my white snow flake prints.. rewrite: after I left it under bright LEDs for a good while the glow was great.. wish I could find more...the price is awesome....the filament aint rolled on the spool like a cheap fly by night chinese ghetto roll...once i found the optimum hotend and bed temp, this stuff prints so damn smoothly and no problems sticking to my bed. you get a coupon in each roll so you can get $ off next roll(s)...and yeah, imma be buying MORE of this from them...cant wait to try their other colors/materialsSo far working great just started the hobbyI love the way it will allow you to sand it and it does look like wood. I used wood stained and it will take stained too. This filament arrived well packaged and damage free. The spool is vacuum sealed with a silica pack to prevent moisture ingress. The filament is neatly wound on the spool and when loading into the printer it feels quite solid and hasn’t broken when manipulated like other filaments I have used.Once loaded I was able to run off 3 prints with no issues. The results are everything I would expect from a filament.I am quite pleased with this product and would certainly consider purchasing more for my future projectsOver the past few orders I've noticed the quality has started to diminish, in which many of my prints end up failing because the material is layered in certain angles too tightly, that the extruder fails to print. Material is wrapped around over the wrong parts, causing my prints to fail.I have lost so many prints because of this cheap and terrible product. Part of me feels they do this on purpose to endure you run out of material and buy more, however I will NEVER purchase from this brand EVER again.Buy at your own risk. After a bad run of black filament from another brand purchased on amazon. I was starting to get frustrated with poor quality filament which was either damp or had air bubbles. Jayo black pla arrived today and I was expecting to have some issues. Nothing at all. Neatly wound spool compared to others. Vac sealed bag and dry filament. Been printing now 7 hours with 0 problems. Prints nicely at 210 and no problems sticking to the bed. Overall I'm happy with this brand and hopefully the next roll will be the same. The print quality is a solid 9/10 however I've faced endless issues with these and SunLu (this is a sub division of SunLu trying to hide from the reputation SunLu got with their marketing strategy).Multiple times after approx 3 hours of print time the spool has been adhered together or so poorly wrapped that the filament can't feed through the extruder, like a poorly tied shoelace.I've never had issues with this even with Anycubics own fillament (which out-performs this)Anything small like a keyring is great. But check the entire spool as I've found multiple knots now which will stop the extruder grabbing fillament so you print nothing onto thin air. It's such a shame as the quality is great.Use anything else but this or SunLu if you can't sit and babysit your entire print! You know when you think something is too good to be true? Well, this time it really was too good to be true. £26 for 5kg of filament is a fantastic deal. £26 for the 1kg that turned up is a bit of a ripoff, to be honest. Very very disappointed with Am@z0n's response too, to be honest, trying to get me to reorder at double the price (item is ~£50 at time of writing, still not a bad price for (possibly) 5kg of filament) and return the original item from a UPS drop off miles away. I'll be giving this a miss from now on.
