I've been converting VCR tapes to DVDs so these labels are really great to use. I chose DVD labels because they stick better than CD labels. The print formatting worked perfectly also. I used an ink jet printer and they look great.I've been using these for BD-R discs even though they're designed for DVD. They are clearly superior to the standard paper CD or CD/DVD labels in that they're constructed of a thin film, but the top side is still paper-like and printable. The package suggests using a CD jewel case as an applicator, which seems to be what they were designed for. When using a "stomper" type labeler instead, the hub does seem a bit snug, but still usable. I got a couple of bubbles on one or two, but they were relatively easy to push out to the edge or to the hub with a credit card.Overall, I like the product, but I do have a couple of suggestions:First, the current price really seems higher than it should be. While these are good quality labels that are likely made using more expensive materials and processes, I'm sure they couldn't cost nearly this much to produce.Second, I wish someone would make Blu-Ray labels that cover the whole disk up to the hub, not just to where a CD's hub would be. I'd happily pay this price for those. The BD-R disks I bought actually have a brand logo that extends closer to the hub than these labels cover, which makes the finished product look much less professional.Update: The price has gone down somewhat in the meantime, so it's a little more reasonable now. These are still about the best I've found for DVDs, and Avery still doesn't seem to make a Blu-ray version so these will do in a pinch for that too, though not ideal.Labels for program DVDsSticking stickers on a DVD can be hard. But once you get the hang of it it is fine.Well it is a couple months since I placed my order & now realize my package only came with 10 sheets, 20 labels total. How do I know this? I purchased them specifically to use for my 2011 family photo/video back-up DVD's. For the first 3 months I had a total of 21 DVDs and I only had enough labels for 20. I was doing this right at Christmas and thought I ran out earlier than I expected, but in the chaos of the holidays I put the project aside & didn't give it a second thought. I finally got some time to devote to the project again and was debating about what labels to purchase and looking at my receipt & this product, only now realized that I only received 20 labels. First time something like this has happened to me on Amazon, but it is too late for anything to be done and I have no proof. Live & learn. The product itself I really liked, though. Labels printed nicely & were very easy to apply to the DVDs without using any applicator. Other labels I've purchased curled and were difficult to apply to the DVDs correctly.****Update****After looking at the picture of the item & the item description there is a discrepancy. In the Technical Details it states "40 CD labels and 80 jewel case spine labels" when in fact it is only 20 CD labels and 40 jewel case spine labels.Labels are fine. Avery's template to use with the labels is not so great. It's the template with the curved text. There is no explanation on their website, but you cannot edit the text. You have to delete the curved text block and use MS Word's features to curve, background, text block, etc. I didn't know this and spent some time trying to edit the generic text by clicking all over the template. I finally went online Chat and Avery explained you cannot edit that text, but you have to delete it and start over. Also after finally adding a text block, when I printed the labels, some of them would print with the bottoms chopped off. Not sure why, but a couple out of 20 sheets I printed had the bottom cut off.I bought these DVD labels to put on blank DVDs after burning copies of my senior thesis film onto them, and so far, they've been working great. The only downside I've found is that the templates are a little hard to manage. Whenever I try and open them (which I think is done by default in Microsoft Word?) it's a very confusing process and I somehow ended up with some white space around edges. This may be a much easier process if you open it in, say, Photoshop for example, but for those of us who don't have easy access to software like that, I wish it were a little more user-friendly.The labels themselves printed nicely. They were pretty easy to stick on the discs, and this step was made even easier by small tabs around the corners of the label that allow you to line up the labels perfectly before setting them down.Instead of paper, as used for CD labels, this package uses film. Supposedly, it is better for DVDs to preserve longevity. How true that is, I cannot say. I've had success using both kinds of labels on DVDs. However, I use the film type labels for one main reason - the printed results look good, better than the paper labels. This was borne out when a colleague asked me how I created the labels for some DVDs I sent him. He was really impressed with their quality. I only wish these labels were available in photo glossy. The biggest issue is if the labels are not put on correctly, one or two bubbles may occur between the label and the disk surface. Usually you can wipe away the bubble by pressing from the inner side of the disk to the outer side (the same way you clean a CD/DVD). I use Avery's "stamper" to put the labels on and rarely have a problem with bubbles. The stamper also makes sure the label is nicely centered against the disk.Una de las mejores etiquetas que existen y a un excelente precio, no por nada compre 5 paquetes las volvería a comprarExcellent produit et rapidité de livraison merci
