Features

【Delicate Matte PLA】With excellent matte printed surface, eSUN Matte PLA has better printing effect and doesn't have obvious layer lines than normal PLA. Not easy to break. Supporting structure of it is easy to peel off. Please check “Product guides and documents ” for more information about matte PLA filament printing.

【High Toughness & Low Density】Compared to normal PLA filament, eSUN Matte PLA has lower density and higher toughness. For same printed models, Matte PLA can print 21% more than normal PLA and models are not easy to break or crack, which can be widly used in accessory, home decoration, toy, sculpture, shell and COSPLAY.

【Stable Dimensional Tolerance】Minimum tolerance and low warping to ensure consistent feeding and stable prints, good layer bonding, less stringing, no bubbles, easy handling, resulting in an outstanding surface finish and are highly precise.

【Tangle Free & No Plugging】Full 1KG 3D printer filament reel, perfect roundness and very tight diameter tolerance, good winding, does not overlap or tangle. Melt well, feed smoothly and constantly without clogging the nozzle or extruder, high successful printing rate.

【Environmental Friendly Package & Reel】Scrap is reused to produce recyclable spool and packaging box. eSUN filament comes in a sealed vacuum bag with a desiccant bag, easily keep your 3D printer filaments at an optimal storage condition and free from dust or dirt before opening the vacuumed sealed packaging.

This is not just like standard PLA. It's EPLA and matte. The spool says print temp is 190-230. I tried 200, 205,215, and 220 all with under extrusion, clogging and little to no adhesion. I was just about to throw the whole spool away before contacting customer service , I started tweaking settings in Cura. 230c hot end, 50c bed and 9mms print speed for first layer has worked perfect. Everything else is default for PLA in Cura. After the first layer I have it set back to 50mms print speed and that seems to be the sweet spot. I'm using a Ender 3 V2 with upgraded metal extruder and Capricorn tubing and cr touch. My first layers come out smooth and stick great on the black side of the glass bed. This filament adheres about the same as PLA which both come off the glass very easy after 15 to 20 minutes in the freezer. I just take the whole glass off and stick it there even at 45c.The eSun eBox Lite 3d printing filament dryer does work, however, it is not an end all to recovering all expired materials. The results vary. I have had the eBox Lite totally recover abused and "waterlogged" PLA that continuously "popped" about two or three times a second for hours during a print. I have also had it not help at all with PLA that has issues adhering. This filament dryer only dries filament. Sometimes filament goes bad for other reasons or is just profoundly low quality right out of the box. Sometimes adjustments to printing settings are really the answer instead of drying. Also, it is very useful that the eBox Lite can be set for up to eighteen hours. Sometimes, I have seen results after five hours. Ten hours is consistently enough to help some. Twenty-seven hours or more has been required in some instances (with just PLA) to get it back to prime. I have to say... this dryer is slow. Finally, regarding the positioning of the dryer box features. The angle and height the filament comes out of the eBox Lite is low enough to load into my tiny, bottom loading Tina 2/Cadet printer without problems. Some filament dryers have the filament come out too high to be readily compatible. Additionally, in my opinion, the controls should be perpendicular to the side the filament comes out of instead of directly below the filament exit point. When filament is loading directly from dry box to my printer, the controls are not easy to see or operate. The printer is in the way.Overall, what ultimately matters regarding the eSun eBox Lite 3d printing filament dryer is that it helps a great deal with drying filament, but takes a really long time to do it.I like the material, but giving a 4 out of 5 because of how they claimed it prints like regular PlA, took a while to figure this stuff out. Overall I had a few failed prints using the settings recommended on the product and typical PLA settings for me. Personally, I think the "lower density" just equated to me needing to up my flow rate or else I would get under extrusion.these are my settings on cura if it helps anyone:Flow: 105% (this helped the most, i had under extrusion without it)Print Speed 50 to 60Nozzle Temp: Initial layer 225, then 215 every later after.I found it likes lots of parts cooling, a few of my prints warped badly when i tried it in an enclosure. Not bad, to be expected with budget mattes they tend to have bad layer adhesion but good finish and look. Not a beginner friendly filament. Had a lot of trouble getting the temperature just right. Had to bump the bed temp to about 62 deg C to get the filament to stick. Used 230C extruder temp.Picked up a spool of eSUN Gloss PLA silk black while on sale. I have to admit, I had low expectations at the price point of $13.99. So imagine my surprise when it turned out to be some high quality filament! Tightly spooled so I've had no issues with tangles or overlaps causing failures on long prints. Plus using out of the box settings on Cura have yielded some nice quality prints with smooth walls where you could barely see any lines or seams. I'll be buying again even at full price. So far this has been one of the best filaments i haved used. Adhesion is wonderful print quality is gorgeous and layer lines just disappear. I highly recommend using it if your not you wont be disappointedI haven't been happy with the performance of most matte filaments tbh, but figured I'd give this one a try because esun makes good quality filament. This particular filament does not want to adhere to the printed very well. I was also getting visible layer lines with it when it advertises the opposite. As far as matte filament goes, it's probably better than most, but it's still a matte filament and I have yet to find one that prints well. So I gave it 3 stars just because it's probably the best brand matte, but it's still a matte filament.I bought this filament to try something new but after opening the box and find a non sealed bag with pla in it. I decided to put it in a dryer box and let it sit over night the next day I started to print with it and have had nothing but problems, like bad adhesion and warping like crazy, weak breaking structures. I also wanted to point out that instead of a deep black gloss it is more of a silver grey gloss. I contacted the company for help and got nowhere leaving me frustrated and unhappy with my purchase.Updated review: After using up 2/3 of the spool on getting the print settings right to get minimal warping i managed to get a decent print quality. Had trouble with massive warping and print not sticking to hot bed. Still get the random failed print from time to time but when the print completes its looks quite smooth (except for the small warping at corners). The heat setting i use to get the best print is 225C hot end and 60C bed with an Ender 3 in an enclosure. Expect to waste time and filament to get the settings rightafter struggling to diagnose my printer for a good three weeks and even going as far as buying a new printer, my prints came out horrible. Everything from missing layers, poor layer adhesion, layer shift, etc. I thought it was my printer was at fault I addressed every component on it.Turn out it was bad/wet filament. The Esun Litebox solved my problem and it's printing great again. As I would love to do a DIY, this package is a decent price and worth my time and money.thanks for a great product. The filament prints similar to other comparable PLA/PLA+ filaments, however the color for "black" is lacking depth. I'ts more of a dark grey than a black (photo on left is the eSun Gloss Black, on the right is my typical PLA Black)Top half had tangles and was a mess to use. Had to keep monitoring. Not buying again.
