The most ready to use out of the box 3D Printer I've looked at or used. Now granted, I do not have a super extensive background in 3D printing, but I am past beginner. I'd say I'm somewhat in the sweet of someone you'd want to be listening to a review about a 3D Printer like this. Firstly, there is always a level of savvy that is needed for tinkering with things, learning to prep, slice and hopefully even design 3D models for printing. So, while it does have the potential to be used by children, it will still take some knowhow, learning and supervision. It's not a Deskjet printer printing a Word document, so don't be unrealistic with your expectations. I've read some reviews on products that blame the product for the difficulties they have, when in reality it's all part of the hobby. That being said, I though my Ender 3 was simple to setup and start using. This thing makes that look complicated. So much so, that I'd be concerned about not getting a good feel of the difficulties that generally come with getting started in 3D printing. It took me a couple of minutes to get it out of the box, a couple of minutes to install the Cura software and then a couple of minutes to feed the filament and start printing a part.i got this printer just over a week ago, and upon arrival it did not work properly. with a little testing i found that the microSD it came with was the culprit (likely imo damaged during transit) the printer seems to need this particular SD card as the go between unless you setup the wifi connection. upon contacting the seller, i was pleasantly suprised to find they responded within just a few hours! i let them know what wad going on, and what i had found myself, and they appologized and got to work making the problem right, sending out a brand new microSD and a 10 dollar refund for my troubles. the new chip got here in a couple days, and everything works great now! so far, i've printed several of the sample designs the SD comes with, and i'm impressed with the machine's capabilities for the relatively low price. its also pretty easy to use, no extensive setup or anything. all in all i personally give it five stars, especially with the customer service, and particularly if someone wants an easy and cheap step into 3D printing. We are having a lot of fun using this machine. You do need to be careful with which filament you use because we have had issues with it getting clogged up and then the print stops going well and get stringy or it just doesn’t print anything further than before the clog. My 7 year old bought this himself and it’s recreational so we aren’t sweating the small stuff too much and if we waste a bit of filament we just try again.First few weeks had no issues at all. While the print size was small was really enjoying this printer. As a newbie the true plug and play aspect of it was exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately this week starting having issues. While customer support has been fantastic. I am not a mechanical/electrical guy and replacing the parts is not at all easy for me. Right now, I basically have a product I can't use and $100 in filament. Maybe a higher quality machine wouldn't have had these issues so soon, I don't know.Update 10/9/2022 - changed my review from 3 to 5 stars because of how great the customer service is. They worked with me through all my issues and eventually just sent me a new machine. Their response time via Amazon contact was usually within 24-36 hours. One of the better customer experiences I've had in a while honestly. This is a great entry level printer. It came ready to use out of the box and prints nicely. It arrived fully assembled and with Auto Bed Leveling, so its easy peasy to get up and running. Most of the other printers I looked at required lengthy setup and calibration. The build volume is small compared to other printers and most imported sti files will need to be scaled downward to fit on the build plate. Usually this works fine but sometimes these adjustments can affect the quality of the small parts, especially delicate hinges, causing them to fuse. I've had it a month and I'm already looking for something bigger. The WiFi hasn't worked properly using either my Android phone or PC. Its connected and displays an IP address. I can see the printer and files with my phone and I can print the preinstalled files off the SD card. But it won't download anything from the Cloud and I haven't been able to test any of those files. Luckily the Tina2 included an SD card and reader so I have been able to transfer files manually from PC to printer. My biggest complaint with this printer is the installed software, Wiibuilder2 only runs on Windows. One of the big reasons I picked this model is the description said it was fully open source. I use Linux on my desktop PC and now I must use Cura for slicing and preparing the files. This works fine but it is not customized for this printer as the included Wiibuilder software is. It takes some work to learn Cura and figure out the settings that this little printer likes. I have wasted much filament and time doing so. I have had to reinstall Cura twice to reset the settings to default and start fresh. As a 3d printing novice, its been a pain.Despite these complaints, this is a fine and affordable entry level printer. I arrives ready to print and allows you to be successful right out of the box when printing the preinstalled files. The downside includes a very small build area and buggy WiFi. If you don't run Windows on your PC expect a steep learning curve using the Cura software.I'm giving it 4/5 stars because its been a fun little printer, ready to use and does everything the big boys can do, just teeny tiny. Knocking off one star for the buggy WiFi and that it's not fully open source as the description said. But because it arrives ready to use, includes auto bed leveling and prints well, and I highly recommend this printer for beginners, kids and classrooms.
