This dry box is excelente and do what it promises. Keep your filament dry. What is confusing is how to operate the dry box. It come with just two buttons. But what they do is not well explained. You probably can figure out just pressing them or go to youtube see some reviews.Basically the buttons show the current temperature and the target temperature, increase or decrease the target values and switch between target temperature ant target time to keep on.To switch between temperature and time you need to do a long press and you will see the H (hour) letter. then you can press any button to increase/decrease the time to keep on.Long press again and you get back to temperature view and setting. Why this is not explained in the small manual that come with the product?Easy to use. This stuff ain't bad. Once calibrated, everything I've printed with it came out pretty swellI was regularly ruining into issues where I would check on a print after a few hours only to find that filament had snapped and the printer was just going through the motions. After doing some research, I found that the filament had absorbed moisture from the air and became brittle. This was the most affordable dryer that I could find, so I purchased it and I'm very happy with the decision. The filament hasn't snapped since I began using it and the printed parts appear to be better in quality as well. I'd consider this to be a must have for any printer. This solved our problems with filament feed at a great price. It is what it is. Bare bones. No on/off switch or confirmation of settings. It does what it’s designed to do, dry the filament, just no status. The unit does get warm, understandably it’s a heat device. Would be nice to have temp/humidity display and countdown to completion. It comes with a couple bushings for the filament hole to be used while still drying but better if it had a length of tubing. My biggest complaint is the instructions, very confusing and all but useless. I ended up on good old YouTube to learn how to use it. I would recommend for us novices with the above stipulations.Keeps filament dry and helps keep filament from binding when running to extruder.I had 2 spools in a row get to a quarter to 1/8 a roll then it just scrambles up when on print bed or half way through print. tried it on my other printer with different files and did the same thing .I doubt I'd buy from jayo again or any linking companies. I have had many issues with this material... Random snaps, sections that work best at 190c and others that 210c (I noted the sections were of length of 50-100cm). Each box came with a leaflet saying join our page and message for a discount code... So far 2 rolls and over a week with no codes. .. I had 1 reply within 2 days asking country then nothing for over a week after. I'd recommend d to avoid the Silk Black.... Its just a shiny grey. The black roll I got is a little better but still random snaps. Run on i3 mega pro with 0.8mm nozzleI bought the gold silk pla and I can tell you now, avoid. The spool is not spooled consistently so it is a disorganised messed on the roll. This led to a tangle that ruined a 2 day print. And the pla comes out inconsistently making it a nightmare to print anything decent with this pla because of layer adhesion issues. You think you’ve tuned it correctly? Think again.I tried this on both my 3D printers and on both the print was terrible, the part would break so easily and you can see the layers didn't stick together properly. Now maybe I was doing something wrong but I never seen like this before and i tested on two different printers. such a shame as I needed a silver part but will now print with something else and paint.I will try printing the same file with a different PLA just to make sure there is nothing wrong with the generated G code but don't think that is the problem.Pretty nice filament for the cost, really nice and bright silver, only issue is that it keeps clogging in my printer. Kept getting stuck and wouldn't extrude properly, switched the nozzle and checked the tube for issues, set the temperature up to 225 so it would come out guaranteed, nothing. Loaded in another filament to make sure it wasn't the printer, it fed fine. If you can get it to extrude, you've got some good silver filament, if not, its better to go with AMZ3D in my opinion, slightly darker tone, but works so smoothly in my printer.
